Electrician (Installation Technician) (Durban)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Interpret & follow flow diagrams
2. Understand & follow equipment manuals
3. Equipment programming
4. Hands on working knowledge and experience working with single and 3 phrase distribution
5. Motor & pump control
6. Relays, flow switches, automatic valves, solenoid valves water meters & RO’s
7. Monitoring Telemetry
8. Variable speed drives
9. PLC’s
10. Electrical connections
11. Plumbing connections
12. Cable management

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Grade 12
2. N6 or equivalent qualification
3. Must be trade tested
4. 3 to 5 years experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

5. Be able to travel both locally and cross border
6. Have a valid passport
7. Have a valid drivers license
8. Be COVID vaccinated due to cross border or international travel
9. Have general maintenance / handyman / plumbing & power tools experience
