Financial Accountant (Jacobs)

1. Control, manage and evaluate the full finance support function, including policies and procedures

2. Consolidate and interpret allocated budgets, forecasts, and actual performance
3. Raw Material Management (raw material control and receiving)
4. Stakeholder Engagement
5. Full financial responsibility from cashbook up to Trial Balance for related entities
6. Monthly recurring journals for main entity
7. Full debtors’ function (processing of receipts, following up on ageing queries) with a hands-on focus on major debtors

8. Preparing income statement analysis/ balance sheet analysis for the entity
9. Reviewing of creditors reconciliations for the entity
10. Completion of month end reporting within specified time frames
11. Participation in external financial/ BEE audits as required
12. Maintain fixed assets schedule for the entity
13. Reconcile the fixed assets schedule to the entity’s general ledger
14. Ad hoc projects and exercises as and when required by Directors/Management;
15. VAT 201 Preparation and submission
16. Compiling of all required reports within set deadlines
17. Perform daily processing of manufactured products onto the financial system
18. Performing of month end stock counts and capturing on the financial system
19. Daily stock movement reporting and transfers in respect of raw materials

REQUIREMENTS (These Are Strict Requirements – You Will Have To Meet All 5 Requirements)

1. B.Com or related finance Bachelors degree (Essential – Not Negotiable)
2. 5 + years experience as a Financial Accountant within the Manufacturing, Packaging, Print, FMCG Or Plastics environment.
3. Have a strong commercial drive, with an analytical mindset and good interpersonal skills
4. Have project management skills, highly organized and capable of effective multi-tasking and time management
5. Be fully proficient in working on SYSPRO

RUMUNERATION

Basic Salary – R25,000 To R30,000 (Negotiable – Depending On Qualification & Experience)
