Sales Agent (Gauteng)
Leading national group and market leader requires an independent Sales Agent
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years’ proven external sales experience
Previous experience in tiles advantageous or
Previous experience in the building industry essential
Experience with networking with Chain Stores and Independent clients preferable.
Well-presented and professional
Passion for dealing with people and working within a targeted environment
Able to maintain new and existing client relationships
Excellent communication skills
Sales-driven and motivated
Clear ITC and Criminal records
Own reliable car and cell phone essential
Willing to travel extensively in Gauteng and neighbouring areas
DUTIES
Selling tiling and allied products to existing wholesale clients
Provide clients with all information regarding measurements, colour, grade, price, stock availability and use of tiling products
Develop and utilise sales and marketing strategies to increase sales
Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets
Maintain product knowledge
Prospect and generate new clientele through cold calling, canvassing and networking
Promoting the company and products to clients
Conducting client visits
Follow-up with clients regarding samples or measurements
Be a brand ambassador to project a positive sales and company image
RUMUNERATION
COMMISSION ONLY BASED POSITION
Successful candidate will receive a retainer of +-R25,000 for the first three months (depending on their previous positions earnings)
